Caring, professional guidance to help you find home — since 2001

We know that behind every real estate transaction is a significant life transition for a family or an individual — putting down roots, weddings, divorces, babies, empty nests, creating space for friends or loved ones, new jobs, retirements, investments. Assisting you with caring, professional guidance in these moments is our specialty. In our two decades of experience, we’ve found that a few big ideas guide us along the way:

  1. There’s no substitute for listening actively and meeting you where you are. Whether you feel confident or unsure about the path to finding a home or selling your house, we think that trusting your inklings and instincts — however soft or uncertain — is an important part of the process. Although there’s a lot of detailed, technical knowledge involved in what we do, your thoughts and feelings are where we’ll start. We hope to create space for you to be candid and wholly-yourself throughout our work together.

  2. The best pace is your pace. Sometimes timelines are short and urgent, but other times a relaxed process is exactly what you need in order to feel at ease. We’ll support you in your decisions and negotiate in your best interest, matching your tempo and adjusting as we go. We’re about progress, not pressure.

  3. The head and the heart are friends, not rivals. Real estate is both a human journey and an analytical practice. When we recognize both logic and emotion as valuable sources of information, we can make decisions that feel right for the whole self, in whatever balance that might hold for you.

  4. This might just be easier than you think! Sometimes the process of finding home or getting yours ready to sell (or doing both!) can feel intimidating, but part of our expertise is flattening that mental-mountain into something that feels more like a friendly hill. Our knowledge helps make your transitions easier, and your steps a bit more bite-sized. Feel free to exhale.

  5. It’s human to explore. Home transitions (and life transitions!) often inform many moments to come. Feeling free to explore the big questions of such shifts — whether that means geography, lifestyle, rhythm, or space — can often be both rewarding and useful. Whether you want to explore a lot or a little, we enjoy the adventure.

  6. Fit is the most important thing when choosing an agent. You should feel confident and positive about the relationship, but oftentimes it’s hard to assess potential partners from information “on paper.” In our experience, the easiest way to gauge something like fit is just to give us a call or send us an email. We’re always happy to chat or Zoom and see if we’re a good match! Get in touch here.
